Are there lines at the box office to get Jonas Brothers tickets?

i already got tickets through preordering them but there aren't very good so i want to get better tickets when they actually go on sale. If they go on sale at 4pm and i get there at 12:30pm, will there be a line?

Answer :
yes there will be a line of crazed fangirls in line before you get there good luck on waiting in line for a long time

Answer :
ABSOLUTELY.

I went to a Taylor Swift concert at 11.30am, and the concert started at 5pm. There were already people in the line that had been there since 8am. by 12.30pm the line had gone right around the corner.
The Jonas Brothers are WAY more huge than Taylor, so that's gotta be telling you something - Everyone had already bought Tickets, too. This was just a line to get IN the actual venue.

There WILL be people waiting for literally 12 hours PLUS - possibly even staying the night. I would aim for 9am at the latest.

P.S. Don't trust strangers to 'Hold your place' in line. There's nothing stopping them from saying "What are you talking about? This isn't your spot!" when you return. Go with a friend and take turns in going to get Food and Drinks while the other waits.

Bring something to occupy you so you don't get bored [Notepad, Pen, iPod, Book...] Also, play some fun games with eachother. I like to discuss what names would suit strangers that walk by - it's really fun!

Don't let people in front of you if they ask! It's not only disrespectful to the people behind you, but once they get a place in front of you technically they can let a big group of other people in front, too.

Waiting in line is the most boring thing you can do, but it's still a good idea to go early. If you arrive at 9am and there's a couple of people there, do NOT walk away - find your spot in line as soon as possible and don't even think about leaving. The line for Taylor Swift quadrupled itself in half an hour.

GOOD LUCK :]

Answer :
I think you should plan on leaving at about 4pm the previous day in order to get a good spot in line. You know that is impossible in the time interval you chose, that will never ever happen, and if you try to cut in line you may even be shot, you know them little girls now a days, I'd watch out! :(

Answer :
order them online, the box office will be crowded and ticket touters will go in large groups and buy the maximum each, there will be none left by the time you get to the front.

Answer :
Nope, i just saw a tumbleweed roll by...

The line will probably be very long, you would be better off ordering them on line, rather than waiting IN line all day. People will CAMP there the night before to get a ticket.

I lost tickets to a concert that I bought at a box office, is there any way for me to get another pair?

I bought a pair of Trans-Siberian Orchestra tickets for the concert in Michigan on the 26th from the box office at the Palace. Is there any way I can go back there and get another pair of the same seats without having to pay for them again?

Answer :
If you have a receipt I'm sure they'll be able to somehow replace them for you. If you don't, try and remember what date and time you purchased them, what seats they were, and see if the people at the box office can help you out. Good luck ;)

Answer :
Do you know the seat numbers you had? I think it's unlikely, but your best bet is to call them and find out. I hope you figure something out. Good luck!

I brought tickets to see Coldplay at Wembley stadium at the box office. When do you think they will arrive?

I brought them at the end of last year at the box office for Wembley arena but the women said it would be fine. I paid by cash and have since lost the reciept. I have heard that other people have already got their tickets. The concert is in September so i was wondering when i should be getting mine? Should i e-mail them and ask or am i jumping the gun?

Answer :
did you pay cash or with a debit/credit card, if it was with a card then the bill would do as a receipt, if you haven't received them 10 days to a week before, contact them and find when they will be coming. if you paid with cash and they have no record of the sale and you've lost your receipt then you're screwed.....pretty much, anyway, coldplay? what were you thinking? lol

I bought tickets from Krystals box office for a concert and was not given the tickets I ordered.?

The tickets I received were supposed to be VIP and were the opposite. I wrote to the company and received no reply. I have been unable to get help in trying to get a refund. Does anyone know any organisation that would help?

Answer :
You could try Trading Standards and they may be able to help you out.

However, I`ve just done a search for Krystals, and the first result was from BBC's Watchdog programme investigating them for doing the same thing. The actual page has gone for some reason, but the page is still there in the google cache so i`ve linked to it below. The investigation was at the start of this year.

Theres also a whole load of others links from people they`ve ripped off!

I`ve put the trading standards website link at the bottom for you as well, they would be your best course of action, and hopefully they can help you to get your money back.

If you have paid by credit card, you could send the tickets back, and then ask the credit card company to do a chargeback, refunding the money to your card. Check with the credit card company first though before you do anything, as you don't want to be left with no tickets and no refund. Definately contact Trading Standards as well though, as they shouldn't be allowed to keep ripping people off.

Answer :
if you payed by credit card call customer service and demand a refund...they'll take care of it for you especially if you say it was fraud! If you payed through your bank by a check card then the fraud dept would be able to help. but if you gave your routing # and bank account # then it's between you and the company OR you could go to www.ripoff.com and have them help you. their business is rip off companies and they can give you all the help you need. sorry it wont help you with getting vip right now though!

How early should I be at the Box office to buy tickets within the first 6 rows?

Tickets go on sale at 12 tomorrow for the JOnas BRothers and I was thinking to go there like an hour early, but I don't know if there's going to be a really really long line!! And I really want good seats! Please help!

Answer :
I think you have to go there x-tra early, becase JB rock and everrryyone is going to try and get the tickets, so if they go on sale at 12:00::::: 7:00 in the morning is a good time lol if u wake up that early. if WE (i am ur sister!lol u know that) go there and the line is big then try calling the box office while you are in line and use multiple cells....ok welll i will tell u the rest of the plan later!!

Answer :
Start waiting the night before! I understand they are a very popular band so yes, chances are the line will be looooong.

Good luck!! I hope you get good seats.

Answer :

What would star wars episode IV's box office be at today's ticket prices?

in 1977 star wars episode IV was the 1st film to gross more than 300 million dollars at US box offices, what would the earnings be with today's ticket prices?

Answer :
Taking inflation into consideration, Gone With The Wind would be # 1 and Star Wars # 2.

One thing's for sure, Titanic doesn't deserve to be top grossing movie of all time.

Here's a site I found with figures using inflation.

How do you get Jonas Brothers tickets at the box office the night of the show? Do they cost extra

I am going to the Jonas Brothers concert on MArch 16, and i was wondering about the new ideas the bros themselves came up with. Their idea was that they would sell their tickets in the box office of the stadium they are playing in that night. These tickets would be reserved for the first 20 rows. Do these cost any extra money? How do you get them, and is it hard to get them??? Please help me. I am a HUGE fan!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks!!!!!!!!!! <3 style="font-weight: bold;">Answer :
The tickets probably cost a little more, and then there will probably be a line.
If you really want the tickets, be prepared to skip school and stand in line for a very long time. The tickets themselves probably won't be available until 10 am.
I'd say your best bet would be to buy other tickets to ensure that you get to see them.
Hope this helps!

Answer :
be ready to go the morning of the show.
chances are, there will already be a line

Sorry.. But I already bought them all and burned them.

Does the Shoreline Amphitheatre have a box office that would sell warped tour tickets the day of the tour?

because i can't buy a ticket online, and my friend's mother said that i could just buy a ticket at the box office there. yet, i'm not sure and don't really want to take any chances unless it's a fact.

Answer :
The Shoreline Box Office operates M-F, 11am to 2pm, Sundays from 10am to 2pm and on event on-sale dates from 10am to 2pm. With the exception of the Sunday hours, a $5 service charge per ticket will be applied.

Saturdays, 2pm thru showtime
Sundays, 10am thru showtime

Box office?

Where is the Box office where I can buy concert tickets in the VA/ MD area???

Answer :
On the Jonas Brothers' MySpace page, they wrote that you can only purchase 4 seats max. If you want to sit within the first 20 rows, you have to buy it through your local box office (which it doesn't have up yet). It might be at the 1st Mariner Arena (which they're playing at right now - 9:36 EST). They'll give you a wristband, and you'll be able to see them up close.

Answer :
It depends on what concert tickets you want, sometimes they don't sell them there.Ticket Master might help.Sorry,I couldn't help you very much!=[

I'm being charged a 26% ticket fee for a show using Live Nation and there's no break by using the box office.?

Where do they get the balls to do this, and what can anyone do other than not see a show I am dying to see? There has to be a higher authority to complain to.

Answer :
There really is no one who can help with your complaint. Maybe if you write to the band or whoever it is, and if enough people complain they will find a better way to distribute tickets in the future. Ticket fees are a rip off, that is the way it is.

Answer :
this is a huge opportunity for you. start a company and only charge 15% for ticket fees. you can make huge bucks.

Answer :
Sorry........pay to play..........

Box Office?

The all time box office looks at how much money a movie makes. But do they take in account the ticket price changes from say 1977 to 2007?

For more accuracy, shouldn't they count the number of tickets?
and could I find this info somewhere?

Answer :
On the list of all-time box office moneymakers, ticket price inflation and number of tickets sold are, in fact, taken into condsideration. By this tactic, "Titanic" (widely considered the biggest moneymaker) falls pretty substanially. When inflation and number of tickets sold are taken into account, I believe "Gone With the Wind" comes out on top.

Answer :
One site that has movie grosses adjusted for ticket price inflation - is www.boxofficemojo.com - Gone with the wind is the all-time inflation adjusted leader.

Answer :
I'm sure they look at base years for some info - but I'm not sure if they use the base year for their earnings report each week. Good question.

Answer :
No they don't take in account the ticket price. But Titanic tops the all time box office (1.8 Billion)

Do DVD and Blu-Ray sales count toward how much money a movie has made or is it just box office sales?

For example, The Dark Knight has made just over $1 billion. Does that include just the domestic+international box office money from tickets or DVD and Blu-Ray sales as well?

Answer :
Usually just box office. Top DVD/Blu-Ray sellers might get press on their numbers but most movie numbers are box office

Answer :
Hello Capt. Kirk,

The answer to your question is really yes and no.
To give you more information, I will use the example of "The Dark Knight" that you used.

The Dark Knight did make over $1 billion as many news outlets reported. This figure represents worldwide box office sales, and does not include DVD and Blu-Ray sales.

Of course a how much a movie make is very much influenced by how much money a movie makes outside of the box office. Since a movie make money from Movie Rentals, Movie Purchases (DVD's), toys (The Joker/Batman action figure), and many other things as well.

For example, of the $1 billion The Dark Knight grossed at the box office over $530 million of it was from North America, the rest was international. When the movie was released to DVD and Bluray it made over $250 million from sales of the DVD's.

I hope this answers you question(s). It's basically a answer in a nutshell, since there is even more to it.

Answer :
That counts as everything. But when you see Star Trek's #'s that is just ticket sales. Because, well, its not on dvd yet.

No just how much money they make while its in movie theaters.

yes all the income earned is added and calculated

Answer :

Wicked the musical? Box office tickets?

I need to buy tickets for four people (I know there's a two ticket limit for the box office, but I can get someone to come with me). I'm wondering if I should go to get the day seat tickets from the box office and where the box office is (everybody seems to know except me)? Or if I should get the tickets from somewhere else. Oh yeah, what time should I get there and...forgot the rest.
Please give me good answers people :)

Answer :
Depends what day you go. Saturdays tend to be pretty busy, though matinee tickets are a lot easier to get than evening. You may want to be there about an hour before they open, so about 9ish? Don't worry about finding the box office - if you're facing the theatre from the station, it's to the right of the foyer up the steps.
During the week I think you can get away with being there about 11. Though of course it is coming up to Christmas, so it'll be more busy than usual.

Answer :
It is so hard to get tickets to Wicked the Musical- you'll have to do cancellation line if you're trying to get them the day of. You can't be sure of how many tickets you're going to get (you can try to buy as many as you want) and you are most likely going to be paying over $100 per ticket.

There is also lotto, which you can try, but there are no guarantees. Each day, two hours prior to show time (11:30 AM for 2 PM matinees; 12:30 PM for 3 PM matinees; 4:30 PM for 7 PM performances; 5:30 PM for 8 PM performances), people who present themselves at the Gershwin Theatre box office will have their names placed in a hat. Thirty minutes later, names will be drawn for 28 front-row seats at $26.50 each. This lottery is available only in-person at the box office, with a limit of 2 tickets per person, cash only. Photo-ID.

I'm not exactly sure where the box office is, since I've never seen the London production- but I'm sure it's not very hard to find.

Enjoy the show!!

Are concert tickets cheaper to buy at the box office than online?

I'm planning on buying tickets to see Alice in Chains at the Mohegan Sun Arena. The last few concerts I went to, I've bought my tickets online and they always tack on about 12 dollars worth of service chargers. If I buy the tickets at the box office, will they charge extra fees, or will they cost the listed price of 40 dollars? Thank you.

Answer :
There's still a service fee attached, I could go check all my old ticket stubs from ticketmaster and they'll say +$4.95... If you want the physical tickets, I suggest buying them from your local whateverthehellissellingthem, but personally I like buying them online cuz there's will call and you don't need to physically possess the tickets to get in and they'll let you in first before everyone else (provided you have your ID, though). Maybe your service fee is a little high because you had them shipped out to you as well, cuz when I bought my Megadeth tickets I chose to just have them call out my name instead of actually possessing a physical ticket and the processing fee was just 5 bucks (I've been staring at that email every day, I can't wait! 3 1/2 more weeks!!)

Sorry if my answer kind of rambles on, I'm

Answer :
Totally online, I am lazy partly and they always have proof at the box office for you when your girl forgets the tickets!) I always get them from upcomingconcerts.us
Check em out shop if you need to, they're really all the same.

Answer :
I would suggest you to have concert tickets online from TicketFront.com. They have best seats at lowest price. I have been using it to buy tickets and have always been happy

On average, what percentage does a movie theatre box office profit from ticket sales per screening/per ticket?

Thinking about openining a local movie theatre
and wanted to know what kind of profit margins
I was looking at PER screening and/or per ticket
on both domestically-realeased 'major motion
pictures', as we as indies and, more specifically,
OLDER (aka previously released" major motion film
(ie: from year's past)... How much do distributors
get? how much goes to the box office? how much in
royalties (if applicable)? etc... any info would
help. Thanks!

Answer :
The average won't really help you as most distribution deals are made with national theatre chains. That said, studio pictures tend to split the box office 70/30 (70% distributor, 30% exhibitor) while major event pictures (like Star Wars Ep. III) keeping up in the low to mid eighties. Independent Films have significantly less leverage and end up with closer to 50/50 deals with the exhibitors. Exhibitors get even bigger cuts on revived classics where they just pay a flat fee (say $500) to show cult classics (usually at midnight) and then keep the box office.

Exhibitors keep 100% of concessions.

The Theatre business is a horrible business to be getting into at this point though. The transition to home entertainment is forcing theatres out of business. The big boys have it down to a super-efficient science that it is nearly impossible for a single house to compete.

If you are going into the business you will definitely need some kind of a super-sweet gimmick, like "Tarantino personally curates all movies" or something like that. That or a liquor license.

Email me if you want more info.

Do you buy your movie ticket online or at the box office?

how long have you been buying your ticket online? remember back in the day when you had to stand in line to buy a ticket? do you still do that?

Answer :
I have done both, and liked each, depending on the situation. If I know when and what movie I want to see, the net is great. But if I am just in the mood to see a movie, I prefer to go to the box office. One of the better theaters around here has an internet box office just outside the theater, so you can avoid the lines.

Answer :
i have been buying mine online for quite a while. ever since the inception of fandango. it has made movie tickets purchasing easier and i usually don't have to wait in the movie box office line which is a huge plus. the only thing is that spur of the moment movie moment when i am out and decide to go to movies. besides that i usually buy online and have been doing so for quite a while

Answer :
When I'm planning for a movie I usually try and buy the ticket online. But sometimes I end up doing a last minute decision and I buy them at the box office.

I've been buying my ticket online since October or November last year. Standing in line isn't a huge deal to me. Maybe our local amc movie theatre isn't as crowded as yours, but it tends to be relatively quick.

Answer :
its easier to buy them online. then you don't have to wait in line and to make sure that you actually get tickets for certain movies...

at times i still buy at the box office, but if its a newer movie, i would buy online

Answer :
if you are an optimum online / phone / cable tv customer you can recieve optimum rewards which give me free movie tickets ; )

i usually buy it from the box office.
but recently i have started buying them off the internet if i am seeing a huge movie or seeing it when they first come out

Does wrigley field sell last minute box office tickets to games that are sold out on their web site?

i know about brokers scalpers e bay craigslist etc...i want cheap tickets for 9-22 cubs/pirates.

Answer :
Actually, I looked a couple weeks ago for tickets for the Cubs-Marlins at Wrigley and they had available seats but only single tickets, so would have to sit by myself. I think that's your best bet.

Answer :
i dont know about the cubs but the dbacks, dodgers and braves (all places i have been) say the tickets are slod out online but still have some tickets at the box office. a lot of teams do that, i dont know why though, but if you show up early to the box office you should be able to get some tickets, as long as you dont have a huge group with you. the most you will be able to find together is 2 tickets.

Answer :
There is such a thing in most parks as turn-backs, people who turn back tickets to the park (the legal way, rather than scalping them). You might be lucky enough to get one or two tickets that way on game day, but don't expect to be able to put any size of group together, and it's sure not something you can count on, so have an alternative activity available.

For a popular Broadway musical, the theater box office sold 356 ticket's at $80 apiece, 275 ticket's at $60...

apiece, and 369 ticket's at $45 apiece. How much money did the box office take in????

A.)$61,585
B.)$44,980
C.)$16,500
D.)$16,605

Answer :
= $80.00(356) + $60.00(275) + $45.00(369)
= $28,480.00 + $16,500.00 + $16,605.00
= $61,585.00

Answer: A.) $61,585

Answer :
365x80+275x60+369x45= 29200+16500+16605=$62305
So none of the answers are correct.

Answer :
(356)(80) + (275)(60) +(369)(45) = x
28,480 + 16,500 + 16,605 = 61,585

Answer :
(356)(80)+(275)(60)+(369)(45) = 28480+16500+16605 = 61585

I don't speak Japanese and the box office does not speak English...how am I going to get a ticket to see the show? Is it in Osaka or a city nearby? What is the city called?

Additional Details

I am not in Japan yet but just want to book a ticket on line or throught phone...but they don't speak English and I don't understand Japaness...I need to see the seating plan etc...

Answer :
Ask the concierge at the hotel where you are staying. They are trained on how to get to tourists to A to B.

When you go to the box office, take a copy of the advertisement with you and point to it, have the concierge write the time and day in Japanese on the ad. Also ask him to write how many tickets.

It works in taxis too. Buy a big city map, ask the conceirge to circle two places, the one you want to go to and the hotel so you can get back to the hotel. Also ask him for the number of a taxi company who has an English speaking dispatcher on duty.

Answer :
when are planing to go to japan and what is the ad.......cause my friend is japanese and I can like help you out by making him translate

Jonas brothers box office ticket questions.....?

If I choose to get my tickets for the Jonas Brothers concert at box office....
do i go the same day as the concert?

if not... how much sooner??

also...
how can i be gurenteed that I will get a good seat?

-thanks

Answer :
Your seats probably won't be great but if the concert is not sold out now, it probably won't be the day of the concert. Check www.ticketmaster.com and press look for tickets after finding your concert to see if there are any good seats left! You can probably buy them the day of the concert like two hours ahead of time.

Where can I findhttp://www.blogger.com/post-create.g?blogID=6480586835625830577 worldwide box office ticket sales?

I know you can easily find worldwide box office grossings (Avatar being number one)... and easily find adjusted for inflation worldwide grossings (Gone with the wind being number one). because it has been adjusted for inflation and ticket prices (back in 1939 being about 7c I think to go to the movies - so multiplying that figure to find how much it would have made today [1.5billion domestically compared to Avatars 650million]).
But is there somewhere that can tell you how many tickets (worldwide) were sold for each movie (perhaps in a table?). That way you can compare movies by most successfull instead of highest grossing...
I read somewhere that Avatar actually did not sell as many tickets as Titanic did - at the time it overtook Titanic in how much money it made, and is a fair way off that (so probably never will, but will get close...). Im not disgaurding Avatar, its one of my favourirtes (along with Titanic and slumdog millionaire), im just saying that other movies that have really been more sucessful have been overlooked.
So basically, is there a site that I can look this up (ticket sales talley) and add your thoughts on the matter as well if you like
thanks :)

If you were the star of a movie, would you smash the box office ticket sales record?

If you were the star of a movie, would you smash the box office ticket sales record?

Answer :
No, Dude.

That depends on the script, direction, the other members of the cast, actors' chemistry, the marketing campaign, and the timing of the movie - is this a good year for a comic book movie, or a holocaust movie?

Breaking the sales record is UNPREDICTABLE, Dude. No one knows, not even your electrician.

Answer :
No, I'd be in the little picture that nobody actually went to see, but won all the awards.

What are twilights box office ticket totals so far?

Only info I was able to find.

Answer :

What is a ticket box office?

i want to go to a nightclub for new years but i can only get them from a ticket box office.. only problem is it doesnt say where.. shouldnt it be at the nightclub?

Answer :
A box
Which is supposed to be an office.
That happens to sell tickets to concerts, cinema, theatre..etc

Uhm. Google the Club, and see if says who deals with the selling of their tickets. If that fails, nothing wrong with picking up the phone, and giving the club a quick call. They will give you the info you need.

Have a nice new years!

Answer :
The box office is usually located at the venue itself unless they say otherwise. E.g. if there's a concert at Brixton Academy they will usually say tickets available from the box office (at the venue) or from Ticketweb etc.

Answer :
I would call the night club and ask them where the ticket box office is?
